Caracas, July 24, 2025 – In a symbolic day, President Nicolas Maduro, accompanied by First Lady Cilia Flores, arrived today at the headquarters of the teleSUR multiplatform in Caracas to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this media outlet, which has established itself as a fundamental voice for the peoples of the Global South and a key stronghold for revolutionary communication.

During his visit to the telesur headquarters, President Maduro unveiled a commemorative stained-glass artwork for the multiplatform’s 20th anniversary. The piece, handcrafted by the Vitria Cuba creative workshop in Havana, was created within the context of the recent Patria Colloquium held in the Cuban capital.

This stained glass symbolizes the values of struggle, unity, and resistance that characterize teleSUR, strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and cooperation between Cuba and Venezuela, reaffirming revolutionary solidarity in building a communication project at the service of the peoples.

Since his arrival, President Maduro personally greeted members of the teleSUR team, highlighting his encounter with Patricia Villegas, president of the network, with whom he exchanged words of recognition for years of work and resistance against disinformation. This meeting reflects the deep alliance between the Venezuelan government and teleSUR, which has been a communicational pillar in defending the truth and dignity of Latin American peoples.
